Easy Peach Cobbler With Fresh Peaches and Bisquick

Enjoy peach cobbler anytime with this easy peach cobbler recipe using canned peaches! This warm and bubbly dessert tastes amazing fresh from the oven and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Make this lazy man's peach cobbler even easier by using Original Bisquick Baking Mix but it is not required.

While I love to bake, I can appreciate a quick and easy recipe that I can make for my family with just a few basic ingredients. Much like a dump cake, this peach cobbler takes only a few minutes to put together using basic pantry ingredients and some canned peaches.

Peach Cobbler Ingredients

Only a few basic ingredients are required to make this lazy man's peach cobbler. I am not the original creator of this recipe, however I have tweaked it for my family's tastes.

• Original Bisquick Baking Mix
• milk
• cinnamon
• nutmeg
• butter
• vanilla
• sugar
• canned sliced peaches
• vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional)

This recipe uses half the sugar of standard Bisquick peach cobbler. Trust me, if you are using canned peaches you do not need any more than a half a cup of sugar. It is plenty sweet enough, especially if you are serving with ice cream. If you are using fresh or frozen peaches, you may want to add additional sugar if desired. I have not tested this recipe with any peaches other than canned.

Bisquick Substitute in Peach Cobbler

No Bisquick? No problem! You can still make this easy peach cobbler. Simply replace the Bisquick in this recipe with the following ingredients:

• 1 cup all purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt

How to Make Easy Peach Cobbler

To make this quick peach cobbler recipe, you'll want to start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In an 8 inch square baking dish, mix together Bisquick, cinnamon, nutmeg and milk with a small whisk or fork. Yes, you read that correctly! Mix it up right in your baking pan for minimal cleanup!

Add in butter and vanilla and gently mix until fully combined. In medium bowl stir together peaches and sugar.

Spoon peaches over batter evenly. (I do not use a slotted spoon for this step because I want all the sugar to end up on top as well to get that slighty crunchy top.)

Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.

My whole family really enjoys this easy dessert. We just love the crunchy baked topping and the way the vanilla ice cream melts on the warm cobbler.

Can You Use Fresh Peaches in this Peach Cobbler?

Yes! Give it a try with frozen or fresh peaches. I haven't tried that myself because I'm going for ultra easy by having peach cobbler with canned peaches. But you can substitute 3 to 4 cups of sliced fresh or frozen peaches for the canned peaches. Drain any liquid from the thawed peaches.

This Simple Peach Cobbler Recipe Doesn't Seem Right

If you are looking for a cobbler with actual biscuits on the top with fruit on the bottom, this is not that recipe. This is a lazy man's peach cobbler that is similar to a dump cake and instead results in a delicious and gooey dessert. • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 cans 15.9 oz canned sliced peaches, very well drained
• vanilla ice cream or whipped cream optional
